This project involves the development of an automated email summary system utilizing n8n, a powerful workflow automation tool, combined with DeepSeek AI for natural language processing. The system is designed to streamline email management by automatically extracting, summarizing, and sending daily email summaries every morning at 9 AM. The primary goal of this project is to improve productivity and optimize email handling by reducing the manual effort required to read and process incoming emails. The automation ensures that key information is highlighted and delivered promptly without the need for human intervention.

Email Extraction: Using Microsoft Outlook's API, all incoming emails are automatically retrieved.

Challenges

Email Data Complexity: Emails often come in various formats (HTML, plain text, attachments) and contain different levels of importance. Extracting and processing this data in a meaningful way was a challenge.
Accuracy in Summarization: Summarizing emails accurately while retaining critical details required fine-tuning of the AI model to ensure that the summaries were both relevant and concise.
Integration and Workflow: Automation Integrating multiple tools (n8n, DeepSeek AI, and Microsoft Outlook) into a smooth, automated workflow posed challenges in terms of compatibility, data flow, and error handling.
